What is iPiPi IN?
iPiPi IN allows you to receive SMS from mobile phone numbers without needing to register them to your account. You simply tell your friends to send messages to any of our gateway numbers and ask them to start each message with your ipipiIN code. To configure iPiPi IN on your text messaging account, follow the step by step instructions below:

1. Go to your SMS Settings page.
2. Choose an iPiPiIN ID Code and enter it in the appropriate field. Then click "Submit"
3. To use iPiPiIN, give your friends one of our Gateway numbers and tell them to send messages to this number starting with your iPiPiIN Code. For example, assume that you chose your ipipiIN Code to be JS. In that case your friends can send you messages by adding +JS to the beginning of their messages which they will send the the number you gave them, like as follows:
   
     +JS Hello John, how is it going?
   

What is iPiPi OUT?
In the past, iPiPi text messages always appeared to originate from our gateway numbers. Now, our users can specify the outgoing number they wish receiving phones to see. iPiPi OUT allows you to set a personalized 'Caller ID' style number which is seen in the Call Display area of mobile phones to which you send SMS. To configure iPiPi OUT on your text messaging account, follow the step by step instructions below:

1. Go to your SMS Settings page.
2. Choose an iPiPi OUT Number and enter it in the appropriate field. Then click "Submit"
3. Send away!

IMPORTANT NOTE! When you select ipipiOUT our service will send messages as if they were sent from you phone. If your friends reply, their replies will go DIRECTLY TO YOUR PHONE and will be COMPLETELY independent from ipipi service. If, for some reason, your friend's wireless provider cannot send messages to your wireless provider these messages will be lost forever.
